The Countdown to Camp Begins!

Important Announcements Regarding Accommodations, Special Music, and New Features.

Greetings Campers,

We are just a few weeks away from our arrival at camp and we have some exciting updates to share that we know you will appreciate. Registration is still open but we no longer have suites available, only dorm style accommodations. If your friends or family are still on the fence about attending this year, they are welcome to join us and register! 

 If you would like to sing a special number, the following Brothers will be leading inspiration hour for the week. Please don't reach out to these brothers directly but instead, contact our Music Coordinator- Bro. Chris Gruich cgruich@gmail.com who will facilitate getting those songs to each Inspiration Hour leader based on their specific theme for the evening.

Sunday- Sam Vogel (Mansfield)

Monday- Anthony Contrascere (Colorado Springs)

• Camp App! - The Eastern Camp app will be available on both Android and Apple (iOS) platforms about a week before camp, look for the camp logo icon. It will have all the information in the booklet including maps, schedules, lessons, meal menus, forum info, etc. The app will help us make adjustments as needed and communicate other important announcements to campers to view in real-time. We will also have the capability to send out push notifications updating all campers of any emergencies or simple reminders that can be quickly disseminated to the entire camp. This app's effectiveness is only as good as the phone number we have in camp registration so use this opportunity to update the information (individuals in your family too) in your profile. We will still have booklets available.
  
  
• Volunteering - We have had some new volunteer positions become available as needs evolve. We will need to be flexible as the staff looks to fill the many different volunteer roles at camp. Your volunteer position is what makes camp run smoothly as we bless each other and the Lord though our service. 
  
  
• Check your Spam - As we communicate volunteer information and the selection of teaching positions to Brothers (you may be selected to teach a class and have not requested this position), some of those emails sent earlier this week have gone into spam/junk folders. Please check that folder to confirm your teaching/volunteer responsibility.

• Spread Grace - This will be a new campus for many so please be patient as we still make adjustments from what we have learned over the past year. Also, a reminder to set a reasonable expectation for our eating area in the fieldhouse while the dining room is under construction. We will have ample seating but it will be a slightly farther walk for some. We have added more golf carts to fill that need offering assistance for those that have difficulty walking longer distances. Starbucks won't be available but a local coffee truck will be on site for the week. Please extend an extra measure of grace to all those volunteering and especially the college staff as we make these adjustments this year. We are looking forward to a newly renovated dining room in 2026!
